For Children and Families—Board Books, Easy Readers, Concept Books, Picture Books, Popular Series, Fiction, Nonfiction, Audiobooks on CD, Parenting and Early Childhood Resources, Learning Games, Magazines, Music CDs, DVDs. For Teens and Tweens—Young Adult Fiction, Nonfiction, Magazines, Audiobooks on CD and Playaway For Teachers—Book boxes, scheduled class visits
Early learning area with toys and kits to promote early STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and early literacy skills through interaction with parent/caregiver. Early Learning Station Computers, each with a touch screen and mouse, loaded with 600+ educational programs for ages two to ten.

See Calendar for event date and times. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten—Free book upon registration and at each 100 book milestone to reward and encourage reading to children from birth to entering kindergarten Weekly Storytime—Wednesday at 10am, September to April, for preschoolers and families, featuring stories, songs, active play and a take-home project Lapsit and Toddler Programs for age one and two with an adult featuring stories, songs, rhymes, and fingerplays. Six week sessions are offered in spring and in fall.
