Book BuzzExciting new book club for Third through Fifth Graders. Each participant will receive a copy of one fiction book and one nonfiction book to keep, “About Average” and “Do Tornadoes Really Twist?”. In addition, the kids will make some delicious, healthy snacks. To register, call 715-536-7191, or stop in at the second floor reference desk by Thursday, July 31.

Critic's Choice Movies:

movieFree movies for adults! The "Critic's Choice Movies" series will continue with a coming of age tale set during WWII. Starring a young Christian Bale, this beautifully sprawling drama will keep you on the edge of your seat. Refreshments will be provided by the Merrill Area Community Enrichment Center. Book SaleFriends of the Library Summer Fun Book Sale! Join us for two days of excellent deals. Featuring children’s books, audio books, software, movies, music and large print books, this sale has something for everyone. Outdoor tables, weather permitting.

Children's Summer Reading Program:

Children Summer ReadingFizz, Boom, Read! There will be plenty of Scott Free children's activities at the library this summer! The prize wheel is back for children age 3 through grade 5, Lunch Bunch is available for grades 3-5, there will be Special Family Events at Prairie River Middle School, free movies, and many other exciting activities. Adult Summer Reading Program:

Summer ReadingLiterary Elements. Joining the T.B. Scott Library Adult Summer Reading Program couldn’t be easier. Simply keep track of your summer reading on an official entry form (entry forms available at the library). After you read five books, submit your entry form for a chance to win great prizes. There will be 3 drawings over summer.

Teen Summer Reading Program:

June 6th - August 22nd

Children Summer ReadingSpark a Reaction! Grades 6-12 have the special opportunity to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program. For each book a teen reads, they are eligible to win a free prize and teens can pick out a free book after reading their first book of the summer.
